Create a new column layout, if needed.

Copy Content

Click your cursor once on the first block you want to copy.

Hold Shift and click the last block in the column you want to copy.

Use the keyboard shortcut Cntl+C (or Cmd+C) to copy.

Paste Content

Click once in the new, empty column.

Choose the paragraph block.

Use the keyboard shortcut Cntl+V (or Cmd+V) to paste.
